Mission through Courage, Kindness and Reconciliation

During 2025 our educational focus will be to improve Literacy and Numeracy skills — staff, students and families working together so all our students achieve at least 12 months growth. Other goals for the year are:
Build a community that continues to learn
-Improve student achievement in English & Mathematics, through HITP coaching and explicit, evidence-based teaching.
- Enhance student achievement in English & Mathematics by strengthening staff data literacy, focusing on analysing and applying data to inform and improve teaching and learning practices
Build a community that is connected -Improve student attendance and strengthen family engagement to support learning and wellbeing.
Congratulations to our WR Archdiocese Public Speaking Students
Congratulations to Brooklyn, Adeline, Matilda, Elwina, Aiden and Dave,
who have been selected to represent our school at the next level of the
WR Archdiocese Public Speaking Competition! A massive well done to all
of our students, this was by far the toughest adjudication yet, and every
Speaker should be incredibly proud of their efforts! A special thank you to Mel Loftus for generously giving her time to join the adjudication panel — your support is greatly appreciated!
Rewards days are held each term for students that are sitting at or above 85%. We had an incredible 16 Infants and 18 Primary students attend these days. Congratulations on your wonderful attendance.
BARRANDHANG (Kinder/Yr 1) and Dinawan (Year 2/3)
Bidyin (Year 4/5/6)
The students should all be incredibly proud of themselves for their efforts and what they achieved in just five weeks. A massive thank you to all families who supported their child in these projects and attended the presentations! Additionally, a heartfelt thank you for the positive feedback regarding the change in how homework has been approached this year. Project-based homework offers many valuable learning opportunities and essential skills like problem-solving, responsibility, and time management—skills they will need for high school and real-world situations. It also provides students with a meaningful and memorable learning experience, shared with family or friends.
A huge congratulations to all students and families—Mrs. Fyfe is beyond proud!
