During 2024 our educational focus will be to improve Literacy and Numeracy skills — staff, students and families working together so all our students achieve at least 12 months growth. Other goals for the year are:
Build a community that continues to learn - Implement system Literacy and Numeracy initiatives which will increase student assessment data.
Enhance and maintain the wellbeing of all - Continued increase of attendance rates and implementation of school-wide Well Being Policy.
Build a community that is connected - Increased promotion of the school Vision and Mission statements throughout the community and to continue to increase family attendance at school events.
Dear Families,
Welcome to our mid-term brag edition! We have had many opportunities to celebrate student achivement this term, in the classroom, in the community and on the sporting field. What an incredible group of students we have.
We have also had a few opportunities to welcome families and community this term. We are so very pleased that numbers increase with each event! Students (and teachers) love sharing their progress and success with their families.
Today, we hosted the Small Schools athletics carnival. Our students competed against Euabalong West and Naradhan Primary Schools. While the track and field results were great, it was even more exciting to see the sportsmanship, encouragement and friendships that our students displayed. All staff were involved in the day's success although there are some special shout outs - Mrs Carter, Ms Rebecca, Ms Golding and Ms Nicole - thank you for the organising and set up. You are wonderful! The support of our SCC also contributed to the day's success. Donations of time and talents are great appreciated. And how great that we have families from other schools contributing to their time and talents as well! Thank you Kristy Brooks for co-ordinating.
Mrs Golding and Mrs Fyfe have been working hard preparing students to recieve the Sacrament of First Eucharist. We look forward to this special occasion, this Saturday evening. All families are welcome to join us. Please keep Indigo, Jayden, Matilda, Elwina and Macayla in your prayers.
Attendance for the first half of the term is up from last term - well done students! We look forward to the rest of the term being just as successful!
